Apps are fantastic if you use them for the right purposes.
Today, I'm going to show you some of the fantastic ones I've found which can help with something we all want to do - save a bit of cash.

This is for you. Shopfully digitises mass amounts of catalogues for easy viewing and shopping. Set up your preferences and get notified when new deals are live.

As with a few of the other apps - you won't have to anymore. Set up alerts for things you want to do and Groupon will automatically notify you.

- Deals can sometimes hurt the business (they lose money)

You can filter & sort by a huge range of options letting you find exactly what you're looking for. There has been a recent increase in negative feedback around their GPS location feature - just a heads up.

- Can turn on GPS automatically (draining battery)

From understanding your expenses, keeping track of your cash flow, setting up money goals and a whole lot more - if you're after a budgeting/cash flow tool give it a shot.

Simply set up an alert for the flight you're looking for well in advance of the departure date and wait for the deals to roll in.

Hundreds of recipes and you can plan your weekly food with ease.

- Can plan whole week of food

- Lots of features only available on premium
- A bit difficult to use in the beginning

Updated every Wednesday morning, this app shows you all the 1/2 price specials from Coles, Woolworths and IGA.
